Although the SBA recently unfroze its acceptance of new 8(a) applications, in 2023 the 8(a) program was essentially SHUT DOWN after a Tennessee Federal Court’s Decision called into question, among other things, the SBA’s process for certifying 8(a) Government Contractors as being “socially disadvantaged.”
